Accommodation in the Tynemouth area is available for seafarers, ex seafarers and/or their spouses and widows with the help of the Tyne Mariners' Benevolent Institution. They also consider applications from those who do not have any seafaring experience or contacts.

The Tyne Mariners' Benevolent Institution is a registered charity aiming to prevent or relieve hardship within the Tyneside area.

Offering a safe, comfortable space for those involved or with contacts in seafaring, the charity has availability to house those looking for accommodation.

Those in need are invited to apply for the housing available, with some units available immediately. Even if you don't have any seafaring experience or contacts, you can still apply.
