I'm A Celebrity fans have been left rejoicing after ITV shared what appeared to be a first teaser for the latest series across social media on Saturday night.

The mysterious trailer was just 10 seconds long, telling fans: "Come away with us. Far, far away. The Jungle Retreat awaits." The cryptic message was accompanied by footage of the jungle, and the unmistakeable I'm A Celeb music could be heard playing in the background.

Ant and Dec quickly fuelled the intrigue by sharing the trailer on X and Instagram, along with teasing eye emojis. And the short clip sparked a flurry of messages from excited fans, with many speculating that a new series of I'm A Celeb is on its way.

Last year's series, which saw Sunderland's own Lioness legend Jill Scott crowned Queen of the Jungle, began on Sunday, November 6, before the All Stars South Africa series kicked off in April. If ITV follows a similar schedule with the regular series this year, fans may have less than a month left to wait before they see a new line-up of stars heading Down Under.

"Always look forward to the new show every year!!" one delighted fan commented after watching the teaser trailer. "The best time of the year," another of Ant and Dec's followers rejoiced on social media.

A third thrilled fan said: "I cannot wait for this!" And someone else wrote: "SO EXCITED. Gonna be a good one!"

While this year's star-studded jungle cohort is yet to be revealed, speculation has already been swirling in recent weeks as to who could be taking on Bushtucker Trials in the new series. Among the names going around in the rumour mill have been This Morning host Josie Gibson, former EastEnders star Danielle Harold, Love Island's Olivia Attwood, and even former Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

Meanwhile, former Queen of the Jungle Vicky Pattison recently suggested that Ant and Dec should switch their hosting seats for sleeping bags in the jungle camp. Speaking to ChronicleLive earlier this month, the Newcastle-born star said: "I'd love to see Ant and Dec go in as contestants.

"They're always standing laughing at everyone in the trials - Ant is the worst, he doesn't even try to hold his laugh, so I think it's about time they went through what we all go through!"
