Boots shoppers have said they "can't recommend enough" a new gift set from a bestselling brand full of makeup treats that has been hailed as "brilliant" for the festive season.

The Benefit Bestseller Showcase Makeup Gift Set has been snapped up by shoppers after being added to the high street retailer's Star Gifts Christmas range, and features a collection of beauty must-haves from the premium brand. Inside is Benefit's full size Badgal Bang Volumizing Mascara and Hoola Matte Bronzer, alongside mini versions of Benetint Rose-Tinted Lip & Cheek Stain, 24-Hour Brow Setter, and The New Porefessional Good Cleanup Foaming Cleanser.

Exclusive to Boots, the limited edition set would make the perfect present for any makeup lovers or as a selection of stocking fillers to try some new products without splashing out on the full price. The gift set has a price tag of £34.50, but the items inside are worth £88 according to Boots - the mascara alone would set you back £25.50 when bought separately, while the bronzer costs £24 even with 30% off in the Boots sale.

While the gift set has received just 13 reviews from Boots shoppers so far, everyone awarded it the full five stars. One Benefit fan wrote: "This set has all my favourite Benefit products with an amazing saving!! What a steal!"

Someone else agreed: "I bought this set yesterday and it is such a bargain with the full size Hoola bronzer and the full size mascara closing the deal for me. I definitely see myself buying these products separately once they are finished."

A third person added: "Such a great value set, all my favourite Benefit make up products and I am obsessed with the new Good Cleanup Face cleanser - it leaves my skin squeaky clean! Cannot recommend this set enough!"

A few shoppers said they hadn't managed to get their hands on last year's Benefit beauty box because it sold out so quickly, so if you have your eye on this one it may be best to grab it before it goes. Elsewhere in Boots' Star Gift section, makeup lovers can also snap up the likes of the No7 Ultimate Cosmetic Collection, which contains eight favourites from the brand for £25, or the Too Faced Beauty Wonderland gift set for £42, which includes four full-size makeup bestsellers.

Benefit fans can also find a selection of more Christmas gifts on the brand's website from £17, saving up to half price on makeup collections. Or for shoppers on a budget, Boots' own Extreme Extension Lengthening Mascara has been compared by beauty lovers to Benefit as reported by GlasgowLive - and is currently priced at just £2.
