Busta Rhymes gave Newcastle revellers and fans of 50 Cent quite the after party to remember on Saturday, when he hot footed into the city centre, fresh from supporting the rapper on stage.

Anticipation was high for 50 Cent's gig at the Utilita Arena at the weekend, especially after it was revealed that he'd be joined on the bill by Busta, the man responsible for hits like Woo-Hah, Touch It, Fire It Up, GImme Some More and I Know What You Want, his duet with Mariah Carey, as well as featuring on chart smashes like Pussycat Dolls' Don't Cha,

As well as him opening for 50 Cent just up the road, it was also announced that the now 51-year-old, who has appeared on the American version of The Masked Singer, would be heading to celebrity hot spot Livello for a special appearance, as the venue filled up with people dying to see him in action.

Plenty of mobile phones were held up ion the air to capture the moment ads Busta got on the mic to lead the partying into the early hours and, when Livello posted a series of photos from the night on its Instagram, one satisfied customer responded: "Best night ever!" as another replied: "Such a vibe."

Busta isn't the only music icon to draw a crowd at Livello over the last few months. After LooseFest was cancelled in the summer, headliner Sean Paul delighted fans by turning up there to be on hosting duties, with him joined in the DJ booth by another act on the line-up for the festival, Pass Out hitmaker TInie Tempah.
