The date for this year' extended I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here final has now been confirmed, as both viewers and bookies are divided on who they think will walk away with the jungle crown. And fans can look forward to a bumper last episode, as ITV change up their schedule to make room for it.

A massive ratings winner for ITV ever since it launched a startling 21 years ago now, I'm A Celebrity quickly established itself as one of the most popular and most talked about shows on British television, with many people having an opinion on it, regardless or whether they actually watch it or not. Last year, the programme courted really controversy, thanks to producers bringing in ex health secretary Matt Hancock as a late arrival.

There was similar uproar earlier this month, when, after a lot of speculation linking the outspoken politician with a stint in the jungle, Nigel Farage was on the confirmed line-up for the new series, as some viewers prepared to 'boycott' the whole show because of his involvement.

While those who were against Farage being a contestant claimed a victory after it was revealed I'm A Celebrity's viewing figures had dipped two million from the 2022 launch, it is still pulling in huge primetime audiences every night, with it regularly being the top trend on X (Twitter) ass fans rush to air their opinions

And the big news now is that the I'm A Celebrity 2023 final has been set down for Sunday, December 10, when this year's King or Queen of the Jungle will be crowned at the end of an extended 100 minute episode, the longest since the launch on November 19.

With less than two weeks to go until the series finale airs, there is a real difference of opinion on who should win. Having led the way as soon as she was unveiled as a contestant for this year, Josie Gibson has fallen away in the betting with some bookies, as co-star Sam Thompson became the new favourite, although This Morning host Josie is still just ahead of the ex Made in Chelsea star in other odds, at the time of writing.

.One of the biggest moves in the betting is actually Nigel Farage, has risen up to be third favourite with William Hill. Jamie Lynn-Spears also enjoying an upturn in fortunes. Having been one of the hottest tips to go first, the American star is now a 25/1 shot to win, ahead of Frankie Dettori and Marvin Humes who were well backed to begin with.
