I'm A Celebrity fans have raised doubts over the future of the series following the exit of a second star from camp before the public elimination vote has even opened.

ITV confirmed on Wednesday afternoon that Jamie Lynn Spears had left the jungle, after admitting to her fellow campmates that she was struggling to be away from her two young children back at home in the States. The news came just days after food critic Grace Dent also quit the series "on medical grounds" on Monday, sparking concern from fans over her welfare.

Ant and Dec addressed Jamie's departure on Wednesday night, with Ant opening the episode by telling viewers: "Jamie Lynn Spears has left the camp on medical grounds." And Dec added: "The good news is that Jamie Lynn is doing fine and she goes away with our best wishes."

With two of this year's stars now having left camp due to medical grounds and voting still yet to begin, some fans have raised questions over what their departures could mean for the rest of the series. Some viewers joked that there would be no-one left to vote for, while others wondered whether Grace and Jamie Lynn could be replaced by more new campmates.

One fan posted on X: "Jamie Lynn has left I'm A Celebrity now. Do you think anyone else will walk before the voting starts?"

Another viewer quipped: "At this rate, we won't need to vote people off... there won't be anyone left to vote for."

And a third person remarked: "Will there be anyone left to complete the show? Everyone's dropping out."

Other fans were also left considering whether being two campmates down would affect the voting schedule. "Two campmates have now quit I'm A Celeb. I'm wondering if they will delay the evictions or just carry on regardless," one viewer mused.

In Tuesday's episode, Ant and Dec also confirmed that Nella Rose had been temporarily removed from camp due to medical reasons. Dec explained: "Now unfortunately, Nella is being seen by the medic so she'll be back later, but it means she's now exempt from this trial."
