Matt LeBlanc has shared an emotional tribute to Matthew Perry, his fellow Friends star.

Perry, who played Chandler Bing in the American sitcom, was found dead at his home in Los Angeles at the age of 54 last month.

Police officers said that there were no drugs discovered at the scene, and that there is no indication of third party involvement as Perry was found drowned in his hot tub. LeBlanc starred alongside Perry as the beloved Joey Tribbiani for ten seasons of Friends between 1994 and 2004 - with the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and David Schwimmer.

LeBlanc has since broken his silence with a heartfelt post on Instagram. Taking to the platform, Matt shared a photo carousel of himself and Perry on set - showing some of their most iconic scenes and memories.

Alongside the post, he wrote: "It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye. The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend.

"I will always smile when I think of you and I’ll never forget you. Never. Spread your wings and fly brother you’re finally free. Much love. And I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me."

Matthew Perry was found unresponsive at his Los Angeles home on October 28, believed to have died following an apparent drowning in his hot tub. At the time reports broke out, it was said that there were no drugs found at the scene and police did not suspect any foul play or third party involvement.
