A police search is under way for a missing pregnant woman who is believed to be with her infant son.
Officers are appealing for the public’s help to locate missing Northumberland woman, Soma Sirwan, who was last seen in an area of Ashington on Monday. The 25-year-old has not been seen since and officers are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
Soma is currently seven months pregnant and is believed to be with her 14-month-old son. Anyone who thinks they may have seen the mother or has information on her whereabouts should call Northumbria Police.

A statement from the force said: "Soma Sirwan, who is 25-years-old and lives in the Stakeford area of Ashington, was reported missing on Monday, November 27. She has not been seen since and officers are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
"Soma, who is currently seven months pregnant, is believed to be with her 14-month-old son who is likely to be in a dark coloured buggy. Soma is described as around 5ft 7in tall, of slim build, with long, dark curly hair. She is known to usually wear dark clothing and has a mole on her chin."
Anyone who thinks they may have seen Soma or has information on her whereabouts should call Northumbria Police on 101 immediately, quoting reference number 1748306.
