Primark shoppers have claimed that a pair of ear muffs from the high-street retailer is 'identical' to a pair of designer ear muffs. The Primark version costs just £5 and is £100 cheaper than the luxury UGG version.
The budget retailer's Faux Suede Earmuffs cost just £5 - a fraction of UGG's £105 Women’s Sheepskin Bluetooth Earmuffs. The main difference between the two is that Primark's version does not feature an added Bluetooth music system.
However, the UGG version comes in a gorgeous chestnut colour, similar to Primark's autumnal camel colour, as reported by Bristol Live. On the Primark website, the product listing states: "These fluffy earmuffs will be a chic addition to your cold weather accessories!"
TikToker Ruby Wilkes - known as Rubywilkess on the app - posted a video about the ear muffs. "Run to Primark for the UGG earmuff dupes", she said, adding: "Primark are SLAYING RN."
Many of her followers commented how gorgeous the ear muffs are, including Chlo, who said: "Glad I got them before they went viral". Hope Barker added: "These are so cute." Jaslyn put: "Omg how cute r they." Sammie typed: "I have 3 pairs... they are cute."
However, some followers were not willing to give up their ability to listen to music. MJK explained: "I wish i could get them but i love my Airpods Pro Max and wear em everywhere." Anna admitted: "They look like ugg earmuffs, but these u have are not headphones."
Alternatively, Amazon shoppers can get their hands on the Airmoon Ear Muffs for Women for £11.99. The £12.99 Justay Comf Foldable Ear Muffs can also be folded for extra ease and can be purchased in eight different colours on Amazon.
High-street retailer H&M is also selling a pair of Fluffy earmuffs for £8.99. While New Look is selling a stunning Tan Faux Shearling Ear Muffs for £8.99 too.
