These criminals have all shown vile behaviour towards shopkeepers in the North East in recent months.
In one case, a Christmas Day robber who had intended to steal from a convenience shop was caught by police when droplets of blood were left on the scene when the shopkeeper hit him with a metal shelf bracket.
In another case, an "animal" attacked his partner, before smearing his own excrement on a Tesco worker who had come to her aid.

A third saw a woman who had already been banned from a store spitting on the manager.
Here are the shop workers' nightmares who landed themselves in North East courts.
Shannon Hall
Shannon Hall, 27, of Byker Street, Walker, pleaded guilty to criminal damage to property valued under £5,000 after she smashed a window at Heron Foods when a staff member called her nephew a rat.
The court heard that he had been accused of stealing a 50p energy drink before the worker referred to him as a "rat". A £200 compensation order was imposed on Hall but there were no costs or surcharge to pay.

Blayne Rourke, 26, left two employees at Nisa in Alnwick so terrified that they quit their jobs. Rourke turned up to the shop and threatened to stab them, grabbing hold of a victim before she hit him with a bottle leaving him dazed on the floor.
Rourke, who has 50 previous convictions, pleaded guilty to robbery and was jailed for four years.

Andrew Savage, 50, took a six-inch knife into Best One on Christmas Day. The court heard he was intending to fill a sports bag with spirits.
However, Savage, of Ridley Street, Southwick, Sunderland, was hit with a metal shelf bracket by a brave worker who was in "in genuine fear" for his life and fled the scene bleeding. He was then identified from droplets of blood he had left behind. Savage, who has 102 previous convictions, pleaded guilty to robbery and having a bladed article and was jailed for four years with an extended licence period of a further two years. He was also given a restraining order.
