Soami’s Trio by Parvin Kumar in Consett has won the Good Food Award and has been picked out as one of the World's Best Restaurants by Trip Advisor's Travellers' Choice Awards.
Run by married couple Parvin Kumar, who is the chef and Rohini Sharma as the manager, Soami's Trio opened two years ago, beautifully located in the heart of Consett, at 23 Newmarket Street.
In that time the restaurant has welcomed many diverse diners through its doors and also had the absolute privilege of serving the renowned BBC chef, Si King, of Hairy Bikers. The team say it was an incredible honour to have such a culinary legend dine there.
Having worked in Oberoi Hotels India for more than 25 years at different venues owner Parvin Kumar proudly presents his repertoire of flavours on his menu to take the diners through the journey of flavours and spices offering just not Indian but also Thai and Mexican cuisine to keep your taste buds tingling.
